Planning tips from a licensed guide
The Royal Alcázar is quietest at the 9:30 first entry — in high season (spring and fall) book tickets several weeks ahead.
Seville Cathedral: online tickets use the Puerta del Lagarto entrance, box-office tickets the Puerta del Príncipe — and the ticket office closes at 18:00, an hour before the monument.
Many monuments close or shorten hours on Mondays — double-check before you plan a Monday visit.
In July–August visit the big monuments before noon; the Andalusian heat is serious after 14:00.
Sunday mornings often mean restricted access for Mass in working churches, including the Cathedral.

What are the opening hours of Seville Cathedral?
Monday to Saturday from 10:45 to 19:00 and Sundays from 14:30 to 19:00; the ticket office closes at 18:00. There is also a free visit on Sundays (except holidays) from 16:30 to 18:00, with prior online booking and limited capacity.
What are the opening hours of the Royal Alcázar of Seville?
Every day from 9:30 to 19:00 from April to September, and from 9:30 to 17:00 from October to March. In spring and fall, book tickets several weeks ahead — timed entry slots sell out.
How much are tickets to Seville Cathedral and the Royal Alcázar?
The Cathedral general ticket is €13 online or €14 at the ticket office and includes La Giralda and the Church of El Salvador; the Royal Alcázar general ticket is €15.50. Our private monumental tours include fast-track tickets for both.
